How long can you keep raw pumpkin seeds?

At room temperature in an airtight container the seeds will last for up to three months but up to 12 months if you store them in an airtight container in the fridge. Baked pumpkin seeds are a great source of fibre and nutrition.

How do you clean and roast pumpkin seeds?

  1. Put 4 cups water and 1/2 cup of sea salt in a large bowl.
  2. Warm the water up in the microwave for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir until most of the salt has dissolved.
  4. You may still have a little salt on the bottom but that is fine.
  5. Add the pumpkin seeds and let soak for at least three hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

How long are you supposed to cook pumpkin seeds?

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Scoop out all the seeds from the inside of a pumpkin and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray or line with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the pumpkin seeds are light golden brown.
