What does the letter mean in shoe size?

Foot Width: Boots are typically available in 6 widths: B (extra narrow), C (narrow), D (regular), E (wide), EE (extra wide), and EEE (triple wide). Then, measure the width of your foot across the widest part and find your corresponding width in your shoe size.

How do they determine shoe sizes?

Foot length: To find your foot length, measure the distance between the two longest points on your tracing. Reduce this number by 5 mm, or 1/5-inch. The result is your foot length and the number you will use to determine your shoe size.
